 Block Ads and Surf Safer

Google recently announced that the next version of its Chrome web browser will include a built-in ad-blocker to reduce the number ads users see while surfing the web. Until then, if you're not already using an ad-blocker in your web browser, you should! The most popular ad-blocker for Chrome (the most popular web browser) is AdBlock. I highly recommend installing the AdBlock extension for Chrome.

Team Communication with Slack

Slack is a cutting edge platform for team communication and collaboration. Central to Slack is it's Twitter-style lexicon. Hashtags (#) to specify topics and at symbols (@) to identify team members. This system keeps communication channels open as your team members work together on projects. Slack is free to use for an unlimited period of time.

Run The Show with Quickbooks

If you're running a business and managing your company's finances than staying organized and in control is a must. However, it's tempting to try to save money by going with a less expensive business accounting tool but Quickbooks is still worth the money. Track expenses and vendors, sales and customers, invoices and payments. Also, run reports to get an overview of your company's finances over time. Most importantly, access your financial information from any device anywhere using Quickbooks Online Essentials.
