Without having an administrative assistant, scheduling appointments with clients and with your team can become cumbersome. Whether it's keeping calendars synced and up-to-date or trying to accommodate re-scheduled meetings, you might have wondered if there is a software solution out there to fit your needs.

Well, this month I've got you covered! Welcome to another edition of the newsletter! This month I'll discuss several different scheduling apps that will make your life easier.

Scheduling Done Right

Acuity allows you to automate bookings by sharing your online calendar with clients and letting them pick the day and time they want to meet. Acuity syncs with Google Calendar, iCloud, Outlook.com, Exchange, and Office 365 so clients will always see your most up to date availability, and you'll be in full control of your schedule. It's very quick and easy to get started with the Acuity calendar.

Also, you can style the calendar using CSS so the calendar matches your brand. Acuity also integrates with other digital tools, like QuickBooks, GoToMeeting, and MailChimp.

Customized Booking

GigaBook is another appointment scheduling software option, and it's similar to Acuity, but it allows for more customization. You can specify the staff, room, and equipment necessary for each appointment slot, or setup prep and breakdown time for each appointment.

While this customization might have extra value for you, it means there is more time required to set up GigaBook than compared to Acuity.

Solo accounts start at $12/month and then each additional staff member is $7/month.

A More Secure Calendar

ScheduleOnce is very similar to both Acuity and Gigabook but is very focused on security and compliance and offers HIPAA compliant scheduling, among other security features. (Acuity is also HIPAA compliant.) If you're not sure which of these three platforms is right for you, then the decision might come down to your preference in look and feel for the software. All of these products offer a free trial and I suggest you evaluate them for yourself.

The Square Appointments software might be a good choice if you're already using Square for point of sale, but you'll be missing out on all of the 3rd party integrations offered by Acuity.
