Here's how to create a lead generation funnel:
1) Create a landing page. This is a stand-alone page on your website.
2) Add a contact form that integrates with MailChimp or Constant Contact to the landing page. At a minimum, the form should have a "Name" and "Email" field.
3) Create an irresistible offer your visitor will want in exchange for their email address. This is your “gated content.” The content could be a PDF download, a private video, or a promo code.
4) Write landing page copy that describes the "gated content" people will have access to once they fill out the contact form.
5) Drive traffic to the landing page from Social Media or Google Ads. Highlight the offer for the gated content.
6) Create a "nurture campaign" in MailChimp that is automatically activated after a landing page visitor submits their information in the form. A nature campaign is a series of time-based emails that over time motivates the reader to take action.
